I've started a course on Udemy, thought id put the results here:

Looking down to the glistening pavement, four stories down,
Praying the bus will arrive soon,
She doesn't care if he gets off the bus, or gets out of her life,
She just needs to know,
As people step down from the shuttle, they pull their coats up around their stinging cheeks,
Pull their hoods down over the blustering hair
She won't look past him though, his familiar frame, his statesman stride,
So she will stand staring at the bustling bus stop,
Until the pavement is dry, until the people have vanished
Until her stomach stops churning
Until her tears start flowing
Until she knows... it's over

I am from mums kitchen radio, from blockbuster, and Friday night Family Films. I am from the crispy grass summer barbeques. I am from the apple tree in the back garden, the fruit that couldn't be reached when it was ripe. I am from Celtic tribes, from McAvoys & Donagheys. I am from cassette tapes and Chinese takeaways. From don’t worry be happy and they're just jealous. I am from the survivor of nuns and the victim of priests. Never to be baptised. I’m from Scotland, from canned larger and cigarette smoke. From a white transit van full of paint fumes and optimism, the old wooden pipe still in the ashtray, the sandpapered lenses in the old tortoiseshell frames, and the White overalls, covered in a million different swatches of off white. I am from £1 newspaper holidays, the happiest family there ever was, content in each others company, unaware it would ever end.
To be continued...
